Android Question B4A ver. 5.0 does not start ...

Might this be because I am currently on a XP machine?

If so, can I have the link to the next-to-latest vversion? Thank you!

the icon on you desktop is pointing to which exe? basic4android.exe or b4a.exe?
With b4a 5 the shortcut needs to point to b4a.exe. Earlier it was basic4android.exe

Remove the shortcut and create a new one for b4a.exe

I use it on XP aswell so that's not the problem.

Please make sure that you have the latest Microsoft .Net Framework V4 installed, that's the first thing that you must do.
