iOS Question "b4i-bridge" is no longer available (iOS 14.6)

I just upgraded my iPhone 7 to iOS 14.6.

When I tap b4i-bridge app icon (which was working fine before the upgrade) I now get the message in the title.

Should I try to re-install or is there a greater issue at play?

What happens if you try to create the bridge app again?
I was hesitant to do this - the documentation says you only need to install once.

I will try reinstalling and report back...

OK uninstalling and re-installing B4i-Bridge fixed it - bit unnerving though.

FYI - did not have to touch certificate, just did the app install.

Weird - maybe I upset the iOS pixies...

I'm not sure why it was needed. I've just updated a device to 14.6. and there was no need to reinstall the bridge.
1 year later and I have just gone through this exact same problem again.

This time I think it was after I went through the process of renewing certificates etc.

It could be that this was the cause the first time? - looking through my records I had renewed my certificates on 5th June 21 - 5 days before my problems in post #1.

Am I doing something wrong when renewing certificates?

Any non-store app will cease to work when the certificate expires. This is expected.
So we have to rebuild B4i_Bridge every year? - I don't recall having to do that in earlier times - what has changed?
