Seeing as there is no way to get what subscriptions a user has using B4J

Is there any way a B4J app could ask a B4A app what its valid subscriptions are?

Almost making the B4A a hardware lock key

Good questions. Do to the fact (in my case the user will be working in a Bowling Alley) I would think there might not be a network at all or one they could share

I think (now after your helpful post) the communication would be using bluetooth (or wifidirect ? not sure if old pcs support this).

Sorry, not for owner. Software is for users running tournaments and brackets.

Not all centers will allow using there wifi and bowling centers usually have poor cell service (the one down the block from my house is a all metal building and you can only standing in a certain corner can you get a signal - weird on league night to see people huddled over there - reminds me of when they only allow smoking in a certain area)

My app runs fine on phones and tablets but more than a few would like to run it on their laptops so I was going to use b4j, but thinking this over it may be more of a pain then its worth. My 1st thought was to have the phone or tablet connect to a usb cable.
