Do you have a plan to continue the B4X and your great work, if you is not available (retired, long vacations, etc.)?

There are plans. It is hard to say how effective they will be.

This is another reason why I believe open sourcing B4X is beneficial. If anything happens to you (retirement, etc), B4X will be able to live on.

Licencing could be handled via the closed source command-line compiler for B4A and B4J; and the B4i Build Servers could handle licencing for B4i.
