Hi,

I had this basic doubt for icons and buttons but it got cleared when i referred this link
http://www.b4x.com/android/forum/th...e-your-recommendations-size-format-etc.24908/

http://www.b4x.com/android/wiki/index.php/Marketing_Your_App#Add_an_icon

But For background Wallpaper/Image i am confused.

In my app i am giving user an option to choose 5 background wallpaper based on the choice i change the appearance of the UI.

currently i am using
Dim b a BitMap
b.InitializeSample ()

and setting the image as per the screen resolution.

1. Is the above method correct??

If Yes for the above question then What should be the resolution of the image so that it fits for smaller phones as well as larger Tablets.

OR

2. Should i create folders like -- LDPI (240x320) , MDPI (320x480) ,HDPI (480x800) ,XHDPI (720x1280 and above)

If Yes for the above question then What is the screen resolution i need to set for each folder?

3. Should i use .png or .jpeg for Background wallpaper

Kindly Give your Suggestions and Inputs.

Regards,
SK
