B4J Question black screen

I am getting a black screen while B4J is starting. I have a Windows 10 OS. It was running fine 2 days ago.

First step is to restart the computer.

Shalom, Thank you I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and I have restarted the computer each time after each uninstall.

Does it happen with other B4X IDEs?

Might be a display driver issue.

My PC is new. It has been working great for a couple of days. The program loads and start running and then zings off to the right, 3/4 of the screen turns black and on the upper left corner smaller windows stacked on each other at a very fast rate until I exit the program

You can try to delete the ini file while the IDE is closed. Maybe some setting went wrong.

Just in case...I spent hours debugging a similar problem when I ignored the first official recommendation to check my video connection.
It was 'partially' disconnected and loose! No harm in checking.

I can't find the .ini file.

Just to be sure ... Can you at least confirm you have a B4J folder at the suggested path ?

Thank you all very much. Everything is working again.
Deleting the .ini file did the trick.

I'd like to add that I once had an issue to get the IDE menus to work. It simply didn't trigger on open and save project.
I remember installing NET.Frameworks solved the problem.
