W wes58 Active Member Licensed User Longtime User Jul 29, 2021 #1 I had a look at the thread https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/b4x-ble-2-bluetooth-low-energy.59937/ and in post #121 I saw the following: Example updated and it is based on B4XPages. This makes things simpler as there is no need to move back and forth between the activity and the service. Click to expand... So old example is gone... I think it would be good idea to leave both versions of the example - I don't think that everybody is using B4XPages. And now, it seems that we don't care about people that don't use B4XPages. I am not using B4XPages (for the reasons I explained many times before) so I would appreciate if Erel or someone else who has older version of this example posted it here. Thanks in advance.

I apologize but I don't remember. The only two reasons not to use B4XPages are: - Existing projects. - Need to support multiple orientations (and not in a specific page). If there is any other reason for you not to use B4XPages then you are simply making a mistake. Upvote 0

Erel B4X founder Staff member Licensed User Longtime User Jul 29, 2021 #4 Sorry but it is no longer available. What you need to do is to move all the communication related code to the starter service and call the activity with CallSub when you want to update the UI. It will be about 100 times more complicated than doing it with B4XPages. Upvote 0
