buttons and Z-Order

A quick question:

a friend of mine who is helping me out creating some vector-graphics asked me if I (or more correctly B4) can handle Z-Order.

The images concerned will be used in buttons using StateList Drawable and their corresponding states of Enabled, Disabled and Pressed.

So the question is if the states of StateList Drawable are the same thing as Z-Order.

I don't think there are any z-order / index properties ass such\ but alot of things support the 'Bring to front' and 'Send to back'. So I guess you could Bring to front in the right order.

I noted after reading your reply that the buttons indeed have BringToFront- and SendToBack-methods. This is probably what I need to use.
