R roedmose New Member Licensed User Longtime User Dec 7, 2011 #1 I have just bought a license and installed Basic4Android and have started playing with the httputils. I seem however to have a problem in locating the core libraries which results in a failure in the httputils modules: "Error description: Unknown type: httpclient Are you missing a library reference? Occurred on line: 3 Dim hc As HttpClient" I started by having the free version installed and upgraded to a licenced one and I can see that I have the "libraries" sub-directory with all the core files including the http ones. I updated the path for libraries in B4A but still it seems that B4A can not find the modules/files. What can I have done wrong ? Frank, Denmark

stevel05 Expert Licensed User Longtime User Dec 7, 2011 #2 Hi Frank, In the Ide there are four tabs at the bottom right, click on the Libs tab and you should see a list of included libraries, select the check box next to HTTP and it should work. The additional libraries path configurable via Tools/Configure Paths is where you should put any user libraries you download from the forum. They will then appear on the same list.
