Clock and timers

Is there anyway to use the clock to display an image depending on the time of day.
for example:- If its 01:00 am the app will detect this time and display an image based on that time of day. Such as 1:00am Night-time.bmp

Also is there any way to use the clock to time an event. For example even if the app is closed and your at the home menu, when you go back to the app itll show that something should have been done at a certain time?

Am still looking for anyway to do this so any input or ideas on how any of this would be done please post.

Yes. You can get the current time with DateTime.Now and then based on the current time show a different image.

Thanks, something else ive been strugling with is, Ive made a widget which am happy with however i wanted to have an app add on to it at a click of a button on the widget. Is this possible and if so could you show be an example or code snippet of how to do it.

Please start a new thread for new questions.

If you want to show an activity when the user presses on the widget then you should call StartActivity in the event that handle the click.
