Android Question [CLOSED] Custom transitions between activities ?

Hello,
Please, do you know if the Custom Transitions between activities should still work with Android 4.4.4 ?

I am asking this because on one specific model (smartphone no name with a "special launcher"), I get some "flip flap" effect while going from one activity to another. I have tried to follow Erel's tutorial and put a delay of 0 but nothing changed.

I guess I could not go further ? Many thanks

Edit: sorry forgot to mention that the effect is worst when using the AppCompat library.

The API is still there. However it is possible that you will not be able to get rid of an animation that is added by the system.
