Wish Compiler for other platforms

Hi,

the title "wish" is a little misleading. I don't know about the architecture of B4J, but I just assumed that the IDE and compiler are separated from each other. As B4J needs the JDK I assumed that it also is some sort of Java program.

Therfore I wanted to ask, if there is any chance that at least the B4J-Compiler (if not the whole package) can be released for other platforms?

The IDE (which includes all the tools) is a .Net application. During the compilation process the standard Java compiler is used to compile the generated Java code.

This request is of course relevant. However it will require a very large rewrite.

Maybe once the B4A IDE for Android comes out the Java B4J won't be far behind.
