If no UTF support - seems, yes I guees, modern requirement is only for UTF support - any text to be saved as {\uHEX} symbols. http://incubator.apache.org/odftoolkit/odfdom/index.html - ODT Last edited: Mar 30, 2016 Upvote 0

Just wanted to try the sample to see if it works At the beginning of this thread i thought it will not work. But i got the sampe running (see my answer in the other thread) so i´m positive it will work. But at this point it is really just the sample code which i compiled. But it works! At least with german umlauts. PD: I can give you the source of the srw.jar. Seeing the source java files (and the methods containing) may help you to come further with javaobject. Click to expand... I think German and English are supported at least for words I tried (For German I am just copying ) I wrote a very simple wrapper and still trying with changing header and language codes but still no success Upvote 0

peacemaker Expert Licensed User Longtime User Mar 31, 2016 #25 It's huge, who wants to work hard a bit for free ? Would be nice to have any simple lib for text with simple formatting, and maybe any picture insertion, but universal solution, for any language... Upvote 0

fixit30 Active Member Licensed User Longtime User Mar 31, 2016 #26 Yes, it is huge but you can do just a partial wrap for the features you need. In fact, @Erel has already partially wrapped the Excel features for B4J. https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/t...t-excel-xls-and-xlsx-workbooks.57392/#content Upvote 0

It needs more light-weight variant or other file format . Upvote 0
