Hi to all, come back from different years :D 3 years ago i started to develop in a company as Frontend developer (angular, css, html and others pretty stuff), and 5 months ago i switched in backend team as .net developer (c# in a microservices architecture). I really enjoy my team and what i'm doing, I'm learning a lot of things and how to make more and more clean code, testing and others stuff.. but sometimes i miss mobile development and great using of b4x products, developing application in easier way and mobile ux design. There are a lot of nice things i want to try, and different ideas i want to develop. Hope a day i'll find free time and come to develop with b4a :D
Do you prefer to develop for mobile environment or web/desktop?

Mobile app's have never really piqued my interest enough to make me want to write any.
Probably the reason why I don't use any of the cross platform stuff too, I don't need it to run on a phone, it's just excess code.

The good thing with B4X is that if you write a B4XPages app, you get the both of them (ok, not the web version... but just wait for B4XPages 2.0 and you will see)

yes of course, but there are some reasons that don't allow you to use b4x in every situation. B4x products are great, but like other things, we have to choose the best environment that allows us to achieve our goals

In fact, the second option should be divided into several parts, because one thing is a "pure" desktop application, another is one for web-browser-pc, another is a PWA and different is a server application without UI but still for "desktop", ...
Yeah, the aim of the survey is not to understand if you can use b4x to develop desktop and what it can do, it was more a general discourse on preferring to develop for mobile or desktop (web, script or other)
