We have often talked about how to uniquely identify a device. (See here)
No exhaustive and functional method and result for all devices and the various versions of Android.

You think you can use the Google Advertising ID to identify a device/user?

I turned to this thread to read a good answer. All I saw is an answer that is irrelevant. I hope we can focus on the technical aspects of this forum. Not everyone has time.

With the new year everyone seems more irritable than usual
I have documented: this identifier is created by Google to send targeted advertising. A profile is notified to that code and a whole series of information is collected.

If on the one hand it could be a good method of identification on the other hand, it should be noted that the ID could be disabled by the user by accessing the settings or it may require a new identification code from the settings. Although it is a rare occurrence because not everyone knows that it is possible to delete or change your ID
