I just bought B4I et the host mac builder
I would like to know if it is mandatory to purchase the apple developper (99$) to be able to write the first sample program ?

No You Can Debug With Simulator(Local Mac Builder).

With hosted mac builder you can only compile your app and test it on a real phone.But you need to pay USD99 to apple per year.

While with a local mac builder (MacBook) you can compile and test on simulator for free.
