I briefly took a look at the tutorial on how to do settings in the general IOS area. But, Is there a way to put subroutines behind it? Meaning if I change/enter something in the settings for my app, it runs the appropriate code associated with that setting for my app? is there a way to bind code to the settings controls?

    Just wondering. thanks.

No. It is not possible as your app is not running at that time.
