Hello everyone, I got this today from Google Admob.

Please how do I solve this?



Ensure that you adopt SDKs which support app set ID

We noticed that you have not adopted app set ID for your apps.
Last July, Google Play announced advertising ID policy changes to help boost security and privacy. These changes have started to come into effect from April 1, 2022.
App set ID offers a privacy-friendly way to correlate usage or actions across a set of apps owned by the same organization when the advertising ID is unavailable. To support reporting and fraud prevention of opt-ed out users, Google AdMob recommends taking 20.5.0+ GMA SDK or later which support app set ID. After which, no further action is required.

Hi @Erel Please has this been done? I received this email from ADMOB today and don't know what to do:

Dear partner,​

With the release of Android 13, we wanted to remind developers about Google Play requirements around advertising ID. Apps updating their target API level to Android 13 will need to declare a new permission to use the advertising ID.​

Declaring Play Permission:​

Apps targeting Android 13 will need to declare a Google Play services normal permission in the Android manifest file in order to use the advertising ID. For apps that do not request this permission and update their target API level to Android 13, the advertising ID will automatically be removed and replaced with a string of zeros.​

Apps that update to 20.4.0 GMA SDK or later will automatically have the permission declared and no further developer action will be required to continue using the advertising ID.​

If your app chooses to collect the advertising ID, not requesting this permission or taking updated SDKs may negatively impact your revenue.​

You should set targetSdkVersion to 31 for now. There is still enough time for targetSdkVersion=33 being required.
