Android Question Facebook sdk: How to add app events?

Searching on how to optimize ads distribution to promote my app I came across with this information https://developers.facebook.com/docs/app-ads/sdk-setup , facebook's sdk app events is used to feedback facebook ad manager to target potential users that not only download the app but also could make an in-app purchase and therefore making the campaign more effective.

Looking in the forum I could only find the wrappers for the social part of the sdk, logins, sharing and posting.

My question then is, if there is someone with experience in this topic with facebook sdk? Is a wrapper needed? Or I could access the not wrapped parts of the sdk with JavaObject?
