Android Question felUsb crashing android 8.1 and 9 [Solved]

Hi.... Help !!!

if I press power button to lock screen while usb connected android freezes and reboots,

doesnt always happen straight away but is consistent to 2 or 3 presses, seems like a memory leak triggered,
I have a note 9 with android 9 and a Panasonic FZ-L1 running 8.1,
I am only running the demo code from felUsb,
I like the felUsb as it seems to allow replugging my FTDI without needing to restart application (unlike usbserial 2.4),

any help appreciated,

You can close the connection in Activity_Pause.

This does indeed work, I had tried this but had a timer locking up on reconnect also, fixed now thank you.
