Wish Figma to Bal/Bjl/Bil converter

Hi Erel,

Not only that this will take a lot of workload off the classic designer, it will also...

1. open doors to tons of readymade templates
2. allow members to use AI to generate beautiful UI in seconds and easily implement it in B4X Projects
3. eventually have AI understand B4X UI elements ( in future )

I tried basic conversion but eventually realized that it cannot be done by someone who hasn't understood the format very well in order for mapping Figma element properties to B4X.

Please don't target a single user.

Considering it's possible to export Figma files to json, it should be possible to convert that to the json used by b4x and then simply convert to binary using the provided utility for that. This is something a motivated forum member could do.

If Erel starts indulging every "please make this compatible with B4X" request... Anyway... Why not ask Figma to produce B4X compatible files?

@Cableguy Thanks for your analogy.

While I appreciate your experience and contributions to the community, I would like to emphasize that this a 'Wish' in a space designed for open requests.
Whether a suggestion makes sense to be included is ultimately for the Erel to decide.
To foster a healthy community, it's important that we allow all members to post their ideas freely without being judged instantly or ridiculed.
Let's continue the discussion on the merits of the suggestions themselves and not on how Erel should handle requests.

@epiCode I apologize if you felt targeted, it was not the intention. You are right, a wish is just that, and it is up to EREL to decide if its a valid one, what it adds to the suite, etc...
My post was a "rant" that was not, again I can't stress this enough, was not targeted at you and your request, but to a certain type os wishes that see the light of day, with the "presumption" that B4X should bend itself to include pieces of other platforms, just because it would be easier... Even a Swiss knife as so many gadgets... all of then with a purpose... You get a Philips screw driver, not a set of; you get a flat head screw driver, not a set of, etc...
At the end of the day, many of these wishes could be accomplished by the requester using B4X as a mean to achieve it...

I can understand making a request if a function is complicated to build. It improves the IDE and is good for the community.
But making a request when it is entirely possible to do it yourself, I find that to be lazy.
Figma offers plugins for JSon export and B4X allows JSon import.
I don't see where the problem lies.
