A great way, in my opinion, to find solutions for errors in your B4X projects.

Search on Google Search like this:

site:b4x.com -"Search Results" "HERE THE ERROR MESSAGE"

For example:
site:b4x.com -"Search Results" java.util.zip.ZipException: unknown compression method

I find that the search on the forum is not very good.
If I put for example "table to map", the search is done on the 3 words and not on the sentence.
So I also found "to" in the search. But there are maybe 3000 matches with "to" and only 2 with "Array to map".
It is complicated.
Maybe I missed something.

I don't like the forum's search engine either (which I don't think Erel can modify/improve, I assume it is part of Xenforo and barely or not at all customizable, I don't know), which is why I use Google Search, which is much more flexible and useful.

I think the forum search is modified and improved by Erel using some plugin, he told it one time. Search for "forum search" in the forum search to search it in the forum.

Step to find solution for B4X (I use it)
  1. Search in Forum search like "access variable in another page"
  2. Search box shows some hint solution and you get you answer there itself.
  3. If not satisfied , press ENTER to get lots of answers with links.
  4. If not satisfied , paste the search text in browser search bar and add site:b4x.com to it, "access variable in another page site:b4x.com"
  5. If not satisfied , create a new thread in the Forum.
BTW searching with Google is very old trick given in the Forum from long time ago. I got it from Forum itself.

Search for "forum search" in the forum search to search it in the forum.
If two witches were watching two watches, which witch would watch which watch?

(Greetings José, I couldn't resist to comment your magnific tongue twister ?)

Regarding the subject, I also use google search in some cases. I'm sure it has been requested more than once and there are reasons behind not to implement it, but certainly the forum search could be improved specially when you search for some exact sentences or want to sort large results by date.
