I saw it yesterday passing by on CSDB.
Far from fake I guess.
A Commordore drive is like a computer on its own with own cpu en small amount of RAM memory.
The drive sound was already done in the mid 80's and is playing with head movements and stepper speed changes.
But the demo itself is amazing knowing that you only have a tiny amount (2K) of RAM there to put your code and data in it
especially if you see the C64 being completely detached. Otherwise you could send new code/data to it when the demo runs.
Also if you know what that dude pulled out of his sleef 25 years ago (look up Radio Napalm & Mathematica from Reflex on youtube) then you can be sure it's not fake.
