get Device ID?

Is there a function that will return a device's unique identification ID like a serial number that will work on all devices?

I'm using p.Model now but need a unique way to id the device.

I checked the Phone docs and see there is a GetDeviceID but it's only for phones. I was hoping for a function that would work for non-phones such as Tablets too.

Android_ID is unique to all devices and all devices have it.
