Android Question Get the fields in the contact database ?

I am trying to get the fields in the phone contact ( not the values) to create a table in other database. But I am not able to get this. I observed that it is slightly differ from model to model. Please help. ( I am using contactutils class)

Which fields? Which code are you trying to run?

What I mean is, the field names such as Name, Work phone, Home phone, phone1, office, organization etc., I am getting the values stored in these fields, but I want to extract field names.

I don't think that the fields names are stored in the content provider. They are part of the client app.
