Hello,
Until last week , I always think that google play store is better than appstore for developers. What I experienced with google changed all my mind. Yes, some times , getting a rejection for app approval or update in ios is very bad , you have to wait 7 more days generally. But with Google .. OMG
I updated my app last week in google play store and after some hours got a message that my app is suspended. There is no detail. It just says "impersonation" . I was shocked. The idea is totally mine and all the content, art everything belongs to me. So i sent an appeal . After 36 hours i got a message that my app was the same with a appstore app. Guess What ? Of course it is same because thats my app ! I simply ask them : "Can't you compare my legal name in google developer account to itunes developer name you are assuming I stole the app from ? .. Both include my real name so someone must be blind to not to see the connection. Human error it may happen no problem. Guess what
Next week another update and booom. My Local language version of that app ( different packga name ) suspended. And it was an very active app. I again appealed and lost 3 days where all the automatic renewals canceled. lost many customers etc..
Now what Google do is first they suspend your app than ask you to clear yourself and make you lose valuable time and customer altough I am %100 right. So be careful for a situation like this.
