Android Question GoogleMap: Animate MapFraqment?

Hi all,
is it possible to change the mapfraqments size at runtime? In the designer we have the attibutes width and height, but in the code there is no possibility to change it. Also when I animate the underlying panel, the mapfraqment stays in its size, even when the ancors are set to both sides....

any hints are appreciated...
