Android Question GoogleMaps info in MapFragment

hi

i've seen MapFragment and MapView examples, but i still didn't notice example with GoogleMaps info. Example: when you open googlemaps or run googlemaps intent example you get more info for some locations (hospitals for example). Is it possible to get that info in MapFragment or MapView examples? (we have location marker and we can put some tool tip with our info, but what about getting info from GoogleMaps and show it). I hope that you understand me...
