I wanted to append image in the following string. how can I

Dim sb As StringBuilder
            sb.Initialize
            sb.Append("<html><body>").Append(CRLF)
            sb.Append("<table><tr>").Append(CRLF)
            sb.Append("<caption>").Append(Title).Append("</caption>").Append(CRLF)
-----> Here I wanted to append Image         
            sb.Append("</tr>").Append(CRLF)
            sb.Append(rowdata)
            sb.Append("</table></body></html>")
            Return sb.ToString

Use Tag IMG

<img src="smiley.gif" alt="Smiley face" height="42" width="42">

 sb.Append("<img src=""smiley.gif"" alt=""Smiley face"" height=""42"" width=""42"" ")

Does not need CRLF on HTML

You should use the smart string literal:

Return $"<html><body>

<tr>
  <caption>${Title}</caption>
  <img src="smiley.gif" alt="Smiley face" height="42" width="42">
</tr>
${rowData}
</table>
</body></html>
