iOS Question How to connect to a local network

Hi All. I have a B4i custom app that needs to read and write to a given folder on the local network. The B4i app collects the username and password for the network. The network path is \\server\local folder.

This is giving me even more grey hairs. I am stumped

Any help would me most appreciated

Can you use IP address or edit server host file?

There is no built-in support for SMB. You can run a small FTP server with B4J and then use FTP on the mobile device to copy files.
