Android Question How to publish a Paid App

Hello,

I am a bit confused about publishing a paid app to playstore and subsequently to app store. I have activated Merchant account for both stores.

My confusion is, what do I need to include inside my paid application before I publish,

1. Will I need those in-app billing library, or some library included in my app before I publish

or

2. Just setting the option in the Dashboard as PAID and Setting Selling price for the app is all that it takes?
2 (a) If option 2, What happens if someone who paid for the app transfers the apk to another persons phone, will the app work or not?

There is no in-app purchases. The app will be sold outright.

That brings me to 2(a)
What happens if someone who paid for the app transfers the apk to another person, Will the app still work?

1. Unless the device is rooted, users don't have access to the APK.
2. The Google Play installed APK is encrypted and will only run on the specific device.

Does it mean that your app cannot be hacked?

No.

My confusion is cleared now.

I think I will also add checking of a rooted device, and also, checking if the app is installed from playtore as an additional measure.
