I have a CustomListView ahich I refresh every 10 seconds.
It lasts 3 or 4 secs to fill.
How can I show a thin progress bar, like the windows IE app while filling the List?

    I personally use ProgressDialogShow.
    'Try this
         ProgressDialogShow("Your message")
'Your populate list routine goes here

And can you make the dialog as imperceptible as you can do? does progress dialog allow the rest of the app still working?
I dont want the user to wait till the process is finished but to knos the process is running.

How many items are you adding? Are you testing the speed in release mode?

As the items are added by the main thread there is no simple way to update the UI. You can add DoEvents calls to allow the UI to refresh.
