Android Question I have a problem which is: Not directly related to B4A

Hello,

I have last built an app in 2016 (built using another tool) which was working just fine till Android 7 and Android 8 were released.

Now in newer version of Android this app fails when trying to send SMS using the phone.

Does anyone knows as to what must be the problem here? Some pointers will help me solve the problem. I have already posted on the original tool's forum but I am under pressure to solve is asap so I am posting here.

Hm. This is difficult because this is the B4A forum.

However. You should get an exception (by the way it is very helpful to post this. You can't call a workshop and tell them your car isn't starting anymore and they should tell you what exactly is wrong). I assume it's caused by not using runtime permissions. See the documentations of "the other tool".
