It promises, "With Mercury, you will be able to build your existing VB.NET projects, and leverage your Visual Basic™ language experience to write code for any modern target platform."

A monthly subscription of $49 and a yearly purchase of $599 is rather dash dash dash.

The only thing I found impressive was the fact that one can run the IDE on a MAC. Its an interesting project but it scares me that they want to do everything and be an all rounder.

I also found it too. It is still in beta I guess. The feature that amazed me is you can mix other languages in the IDE.

Ya, but we can’t stop anyone to come out with their own products. There are still many people like Classic VB6 and trying to improve it.
