Android Question Is there any way to un-DIM a variable?

And release memory resources immediately?
I am thinking about new algorithm to (Forget) and then (Remember) a variable. The Forget statement (or whatever the name might be), will leave 0 references to the variable. Setting the variable to null will destroy the variable, not just forget it.
Help!
