It seems B4a won't compile with jdk1.7.x.xx is there going to be an update for this?

Yes. The next version adds support for JDK 7.

I believe that the first beta will be ready in about two weeks.

The main new feature is the "designer scripts" that I described in a different thread. This feature will make it much much easier to target multiple screens.

Another planned feature is to add support for B4A-Bridge to work over Bluetooth. This will add another option for developers to connect to devices.

The next version will also include other "smaller" features and bug fixes (including support for Java 7).
