iOS Question Keep socket connection in bg

Hello
I connect to remote socket and send data successfully
Now there is a problem
If user press home button and go to home page(no close app)
My socket cannot receive data?

Erel,i don't want to close app from recent app.
App run in iOS but maybe user press home and goto homepage and again return to app from recent app.
Again connection lost?
My app need to active in background until get data from socket.
User cannot open my app for always until server send request to it

It is not possible, assuming that you plan to publish the app through the app store.
