Android Question KeepAlive does not light

Hello everybody.
One question: when the screen is turning off does keepalive(true) not turn it back on? I ask this question because when the screen is off the keepalive turning on, but when the screen is off it doesn't. I put the keepalive on a service and then released the device with ReleaseKeepAlive.

Might be related to a change in Android 10 where services cannot start activities without the special "draw over apps" permission. To further test it, implement the permission, start an activity and call it from there.

I already have this special permission to draw over apps!
As, in my case, it is not a frequent thing, it does not bother me that much. But, I think for other specific types of applications, it might be a nuisance.

This happens a lot when I'm testing the application and I set the alarms to go off with a difference of minutes. For example, I set an alarm to go off in the next minute after the current one. If the screen starts to dim in that interval, keepalive does not come on!

In a normal my app operating situation, I don't think this will happen, but it would be interesting to know if there is a way around this, even for other types of apps.
