There's no bug, what you need to do is to use the IME library.

Of course I know IME. But edittexts are still covered by keyboard.

Far as I know, this is normal behavior when the screen size is small.
Use the "Hint Text" to describe what information should be entered.

No, the screen is 3.5 inches in size. The edittext is put on a scroll view. If the activity is created, the edittext can move up when keyboard shows. But it can't move up after the activity resume.

Are you handling the HeightChanged event with the IME library?

No. when my finger touched the edittext, it got focus and the keyboard showed, covering the edittext. Normally, the OS should move the edittext up, letting user see the edittext. However, it did not after the activity resumed.

This happens only on a resumed activity .

One option is to use IME library and change the layout yourself.

Try to add this line to the manifest editor:

B4X:

SetActivityAttribute(main, android:windowSoftInputMode, adjustPan|stateHidden)
