Light sensor question to Klaus

Hi Klaus and all other friends..
I installed and run your sensors application example.
The light sensor part is not displaying small changes in light intensity. It starts
not from Zero but from 10, then jumps to 20, then to he hundreds.. jerky.
Is there anyway to make the sensor more sensitive? I don't mean the hardware
but if it is possible in the software. If the low resolution is from my phone sensor
the you may forget it.

The values come directly from the hardware. Most Android light sensors are very inaccurate.
