As my question on using OSM on iOS remained unanswered I'm looking for some alternatives.
I would like to write an app (for Android and iOS) that displays a local map without needing a constant data connection, something similar as a local GPS navigation app (but without the routing calculation algorithms) .... what would be my best approach ?
