Maximum attachment size here?

I wrote my first tutorial here and wanted to add an attachment with all files necessary for running the sample. In total it was as zip of 541kB. But the forum told me, the file size is to big.

Now my questions:

• What is the current maximum file size for attachments here?
• Is it really contemporary to limit attachments at such a low size?
• Is'n it better to have the files here, that on a third party cloud? a external link may break in some years...

Do you have example projects with source code in your zip file?
If yes, I suggest you to remove the Objects folders from the projects, they use much space and are not necessary.
This is not just a workaround suggestion and not an answer to your question.

It is an audio app with 6 sample-audio-files which need 530kb. The object folder is only 6k.

Maybe make two posts, separating the program and the audio files so both are < 500kb?

Is this limit still appropriate? We are in the terabyte aera. Only 2.000.000 times a 500kb file fills only a terabyte

for me it is not a problem to offer it on my own server. but i think files belonging to themes should also be hosted here.

The attachments size is still 500kb. You can split it or post a link to any other storage service.
