Sorry for leaving a post in that old thread...
The graphics and music are excellent! I found the gameplay, however, a bit frustrating. You get through it very quickly. The time available, combined with a bit of practice, leaves hardly any scope for improving your high score after a while.
Many thanks for making the source code available; it allowed me to spice things up a bit to suit my own taste:
Depending on the number of ‘bricks destroyed’ at once, you receive a reward in the form of extra time on the countdown. With skilful play, you can earn more playing time this way. However, resourceful players might then try to gain extra time by tapping wildly and aimlessly on the screen. To put a stop to this, though, tapping a single (“unconnected brick”) also deducts time from the countdown.
Perhaps this is an idea for a future update to this very old programme, which can still easily hold its own against today’s game designs.
Very good work! Well done!
