Never run Google ads if you have an Android app
Google can and will permanently ban your Android app if Google thinks you’ve clicked on your own ads

That's a good point, I'd never though about it like that.Another small observation: a your competitor might hire two or three people who make multiple clicks on your app to take you out of market.
I really think not but, of course, if you risk that your app will be banned due to AdMob...!That's a good point, I'd never though about it like that.
Looking at the money side. Do other ad providers pay more than Google? I'd put some effort into changing my ads code if I thought I could earn more.

If so, Google wouldn't have banned that guy's app (DroidScript), as he himself says he didn't abuse clicks (and obviously he didn't).don't you think google thought about such a scenario?
it am sure it won't work. besides the fact that google can figure out if a click was real or not google also know who clicked on the ad. what phone, country, time, etc... so it won't be so easy to ban the account of other users.
