I adapted Erel's example IME_example to work with E2E.
The program works fine on my tablet. The picture tablet1.jpg shows the screen after calling the program. Image tablet2.jpg is after clicking on the edit field. After pressing the Back button, the situation is the same as on tablet1.jpg.
The phone behaves like a dope: phone1.jpg shows the screen after calling the program. The image phone2.jpg is after clicking on the edit field. The image phone3.jpg is after pressing the Back button. In the images phone2 and phone3, fields that should not exist are marked.
Phone specs: Samsung Galaxy s23 Ultra, ONE UI 8.5, Android 16
Tablet specs: Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (SM-X200), ONE UI 6.1, Android 14.
