Newbe Library Question.

I found a jar file that may work for my app, It did not have a .xml with it.

When I Generate Javadocs it in eclipse and trying to make a new .jar and .xml pair. I only get the xml file. not the Jar.

What am I doing wrong??

You need file - export - jar to generate the jar file. Look in the library developers tutorial.

Yes I have looked through the video and read the tutorial.

I am able now to get the .jar file to export. The issue I am having is the jar seems small compared to the imported version.

example the original before import is: 278k and after exporting the new jar it is 2kb.

Is it possible the jar I am importing could be incompatible with B4A.

When I try compile it in B4a the program says "missing member"


The jar I am using is sshxcute.jar

The export step is not really related to Basic4android.

However you will need to "wrap" this library with annotated code that B4A compiler can work with.
