Parental control app

I would like to make a parental control app to make sure my daughter is not playing in internet when she should be sleeping.

I think a service combined with the function to turn on/off airplane mode would work. What would be a logical time to check if the mode is turned off in the service - 5 minutes?

Password protection is also required, I think I can manage this.

One thought, how can I stop her de-installing the app?

Anybody got any better ideas?

For security reasons it is not simple to build such apps in Android. Also any non-system application can be uninstalled.

You should create a service that starts at boot and schedules itself to run at the required time.

You can remove the application icon from the applications window by removing the intent filter that is added to the main activity.
