rfresh Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Mar 20, 2012 #1 I recently added the phone.zip lib to my IDE and now my code won't compile. It's complaining about this line: Code: Copy Dim pid As PhoneId What Lib is needed for this? This used to compile ok until I just added the phone.zip lib, so I'm sure it has something to do with that.

thedesolatesoul Expert Licensed User Longtime User Mar 20, 2012 #4 Did you bother checking if you already had the Phone Lib installed? I'm sure it comes standard with the B4A installation and the one you have copied is an older version. Upvote 0

rfresh Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Mar 20, 2012 #5 Hmmm...maybe I over wrote my old phone lib because I copied these phone.zip files to my extras folder, not my internal lib folder as Erel stated. But I don't see an internal lib folder...? I removed the two phone lib files from my extras folder and was able to compile again. So that was the problem. Now the problem is that the two files in the phone.zip file are to be copied (according to Erel) to the b4a internal lib folder but I don't see it. Last edited: Mar 20, 2012 Upvote 0

thedesolatesoul Expert Licensed User Longtime User Mar 20, 2012 #6 If it compiles fine without copying the lib files, why do you need to copy them? As I said, an updated version already exists in the internal libs folder. On your IDE Libs tab, what version of the Phone library do you have? Upvote 0

rfresh Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Mar 21, 2012 #7 I'm away from my PC at t moment, so I can't get the phone lib ver but I think you solved it for me. I didn't realize the phone lib was already in the internal lib, so I didn't need to add it as an external one. Thanks... Upvote 0
