stari Active Member Licensed User Longtime User Aug 1, 2023 #3 I would like to play from a file, mp3 or wav, change the speed and record to a file. So, record mp3 or wav 2X or more faster and save to a new file. Upvote 0

drgottjr Expert Licensed User Longtime User Aug 1, 2023 #4 android does not save mp3 natively (mp3 is not open source). it can play mp3 however. you would have to find some 3rd party library for saving. to manipulate an audio file, you might want to take a look at this: https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/audiorecord-library.13993/#content Upvote 0
