Yeah, I miss the old Play and Sound commands early BASIC had. Recently there was some code posted for setting the vibrator on the device to vibrate at a certain frequency. If I had the time I'd seriously think about making a Class to vibrate at the frequency of whatever notes are within its range and make some type of Midi Player through the vibrator if the same capabilities aren't there for the speaker.

They can make music with old Floppy drives, should be possible with a vibrator.

I don't think that Android has native support for that. Check Audio library it supports most or all of the native sound functionality: Basic4android - Audio

There is no built-in support for midi notes in Android. I think that your best option is to generate a set of files and then play them with SoundPool.
